Jardins Abertos festival began as a strategic response to a desire to promote strong, positive connections with nature, bringing sustainability into the urban context. The festival takes place in Lisbon and this year was it’s first edition in Porto, wich I had the joy to photograph.

For the last two weeks me and some friends went on a road trip trough some Balkan countries.

It has been three months since me and Joana departed to Norway. We have been doing workaway in Sandeid, a small village on the west coast of the country and  Nesodden just across the fjord from Oslo. For those who don’t know workaway is a platform where hosts exchange 4/5 hour per day for housing and food. We worked with animals, children and permaculture. We also travelled a lot in the country.

This past week I was in Latvia visiting Sigulda’s Waldorf Kindergarten, where I volunteered for a year. It was very emotional and beautiful to visit the children, teachers and parents. Everything was the same but at the same time, everything was different, one year after I left.
